Vodafone Paredes de Coura returns to Taboão River Beach from 18 to 21 August 2027. It is a festival for people who enjoy arriving early, discovering bands before everyone else and spending four days in a valley where the river, grass and music share the same setting.
If you want the festival experience without camping, Casa de Santa Eulália is around 13 kilometres from the venue — roughly fifteen minutes by car in normal conditions. It is close enough for a daily journey and far enough away for a quiet night's sleep.

Paredes de Coura 2027 dates and location
The organisers have confirmed the next edition for Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 August 2027. The festival takes place at Taboão River Beach, in a natural amphitheatre that is central to the experience: the stage below, a green hillside opposite and the River Coura alongside it.
The 2027 line-up will be announced in stages. For artists, timetables, tickets and current rules, always use the official Vodafone Paredes de Coura website. Do not plan your trip around undated posters or information from previous editions.
Stay in a house or at the campsite?
Camping is part of Coura's history and is included for full-pass holders, although the organisers warn that space is limited. It is not, however, the only way to experience the festival.
Staying at Casa de Santa Eulália mainly transforms your mornings:
- a bed and bedroom instead of a tent;
- a shower without queues;
- a kitchen for breakfast and simple meals;
- a pool and garden in which to recover before the concerts;
- space for a group of up to six guests.
The trade-off is simple: there is a daily journey and the return must be arranged before you leave. If someone drives, choose a designated driver who will not drink. Alternatively, book a taxi or local transport in advance — do not leave that decision until the end of the night.
How to plan each day
The best rhythm is not to spend the entire day waiting for the first concert. Sleep, eat at a relaxed pace and arrive with enough time to exchange your ticket for a wristband, understand the site and choose your concerts without rushing.
- Morning — late breakfast and rest at the house.
- Early afternoon — pool, a light lunch and preparation.
- Late afternoon — leave with time to spare; parking and access take longer on the busiest days.
- Night — concerts followed by a pre-arranged journey home.
If you are spending more time in the Alto Minho, save a morning for Vila Nova de Cerveira, enjoy a meal at one of the region's restaurants or swim in the River Minho and nearby beaches.

What to take into the festival
Coura is green for a reason. Even in August, a hot afternoon can turn into a cool or damp night. Pack lightly, but take what will stop the weather from spoiling a concert:
- comfortable shoes that you have already worn;
- a light layer for the evening;
- a compact waterproof if rain is forecast;
- sunscreen and a hat for the hottest hours;
- a portable phone charger;
- your ticket, identification and only the essentials.
